So Glad You’re Here
This sparked a rewarding 20-year career bringing medical-device innovations to life. And still, I always found myself drawn back to skin health. I couldn’t shake the conviction that our body’s largest organ, that which we see in the mirror and present to the world every day, deserves deeply intentional, nurturing, science-backed care. And that I wanted to be the person delivering it. Moreover, as technology advanced and our interactions became increasingly screen-based, I found myself yearning for direct, in-person connection. In retrospect, I believe this call to healing and human connection is what originally drew me to medicine.
Every step along this unconventional, never-boring and life lesson-packed path was necessary to get to Dawn and Eve Skincare today, and I’m so grateful to be here.
Outside the treatment room, I love spending time in nature, especially through hiking and meditative walks. I’m an amateur gardener and plant fan-girl. And I try to get a little yoga and leisure reading in when I can. I also love spending time with my husband, two kids, two senior dogs and a revolving cast of adorable and deserving foster dogs.
I am so grateful our paths have crossed. I can’t wait to welcome you in person, hear your story, and partner with you to create the healthy, vibrant skin you deserve.
Hello and welcome. I’m Jen, creator and founder of Dawn and Eve Skincare and I’m so glad you’re here.
My path to skincare started in high school, when my mom introduced me to the basics. It was nothing extravagant, mostly just a focus on cleansing, moisturizing and (occasional, unfortunately) sun protection. But, it was enough for me to experience the impact of a self-care ritual. And learn firsthand just how far a bit of focused care and attention goes in skincare. The seed was planted.
Growing up in the East San Francisco Bay Area, my childhood was filled with lots of unstructured outdoor time, team sports, and curiosity about how the world works. It felt completely natural when I gravitated toward science and healthcare, eventually earning my BS in Neuroscience at UCLA and my MD at the Medical College of Virginia. But during my radiology residency, I realized something vital: while diagnosing disease is critical, my true calling was to actively craft proactive, preventive solutions that help people thrive before illness takes hold.
